PRIVATE EVENT: Pequeños Soñadores: Summer Youth Artist Series

Goodman Theatre’s 100 Free Acts of Theater will collaborate with Gage Park Latinx Council to sponsor a guest artist-led workshop for students participating in GPLXC’s free summer camp in 2025. This workshop will guide youth participants in creating impactful artistic statements, incorporating a professional photoshoot with a photographer and an artistic designer. The goal is to help students craft meaningful visual and written expressions that reflect their identities, experiences and creative voices. The resulting photos and statements will be shared back with GPLXC to feature in their final summer camp performances and displayed in GPLXC’s space as a living history of youth engagement and a testament to the impact of their work and dedication to GPLXC’s mission. This collaboration aims to empower young artists, celebrate their creativity and highlight the vital role of arts in fostering community connection.
