Founded in 1925 and incorporated in 1976, Goodman Theatre is a leading regional company and one of Chicago’s cultural icons.

Each year, the Goodman produces an eight-play subscription season, as well as its annual production of A Christmas Carol and a portfolio of Education & Engagement programs from its Dearborn Street facility, anchoring Chicago’s North Loop Theatre District. Operating on an overall budget of more than $22 million, the theater presents approximately 375 performances annually with an attendance of more than 230,000.
