Artist Bio
Nick Sandys
(Bio as of September 2022)
Nick Sandys (Fight Choreographer, Firearms and Intimacy Consultant) has staged violence for over 25 productions at Goodman Theatre, including The Iceman Cometh; Pullman Porter Blues; Electricidad; Ghostwritten; Stage Kiss; Moonlight & Magnolias; Ruined; House & Garden; Gem Of The Ocean and Seven Guitars. Recent credits include Macbeth, Pagliacci, Don Giovanni, West Side Story (Lyric Opera of Chicago – Resident Fight Director); Red Summer (MPAACT); Zorro, Ragtime (Music Theater Works) and Prince Igor (Metropolitan Opera). Nick is a certified teacher and fight director with The Society of American Fight Directors and teaches at DePaul’s Theatre School. nicksandys.com
