Artist Bio
Kristina Johnson
(Bio as of August 2012)
Kristina Johnson returns to the Goodman, where she previously appeared in The Ballad of Emmett Till and The Long Red Road, as well as readings of Reverb and Spirits to Enforce as part of the New Stages Series. Other Chicago credits include The Threepenny Opera with The Hypocrites, Tight Curls Today with Collaboraction, Touch at New Leaf Theatre, State of the Union at Strawdog Theatre Company and How to Disappear Completely and Never Be Found at Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co. She has previously collaborated with David Cromer as the understudy for the role of Stella in A Streetcar Named Desire at Writers’ Theatre. Internationally, Ms. Johnson appeared in All the Happy People at the Edinburgh Festival. She has trained at The School at Steppenwolf, is a member of the first graduating class of the Act One Studio Conservatory and holds a BA in theater from Calvin College. She recently filmed Easton’s Article, which is currently screening in several film festivals.
