Artist Bio
Jamestown Revival (Jonathan Clay and Zach Chance)
(Bio as of October 2019)
Jamestown Revival (Music & Lyrics) debuted in 2014 and has since been building an extensive fan base through grass roots support and relentless touring, performing at iconic venues from the Ryman Auditorium to Red Rocks Amphitheater as well as festivals such as Coachella, Austin City Limits and Stagecoach among countless others. Led by Jonathan Clay and Zach Chance–who have maintained a close friendship since meeting at age 15 in Magnolia, Texas–their journey continues to evolve. After the release of their debut album Utah and the follow-up Education of a Wandering Man, the duo spent four years touring and building their base. In 2018, the pair set to writing new material for their upcoming album San Isabel which is set to release June 14, 2019. The album, which was recorded in a remote cabin in Colorado, focuses on the duo’s roots and harmonies, finding inspiration in ‘60s and early 70’s folk and pop with a reverence for early John Denver and Bob Dylan, as well as Simon & Garfunkel and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. The Outsiders is Jamestown Revival’s first foray in to the world of musical theater, and they have relied heavily on their experience songwriting and arranging harmonies to tell the story. The duo’s Americana style is a familiar thread that runs throughout the play, creating a musical that truly brings something unique to the stage. Learn more at JamestownRevival.com.
