Artist Bio
Certain Inhabitants’ Theatre

Certain Inhabitants’ Theatre most recently collaborated with the Goodman on the 2003 Latino Theater Festival. Founded in 1997, Certain Inhabitants’ Theatre has been internationally acclaimed for its three montages: Becket or the Honour of God; Monsters and Prodigies, the History of the Castrati; and The Grey Automobile. The Company has performed in many prestigious theaters and international festivals such as Intemational Cervantino Festival in Mexico; Kunsten Festival des Arts in Brussels; Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin; Grec Festival in Barcelona; Ibero-American Festival in Cadiz; Temporada Alta in Gerona; Open Granada; Cité Universitaire in Paris; International Hispanic Theatre Festivals in New York and Miami; Ibero-American Festival in Bogota; Caracas International Festival; Cultural Carnivals in Valparaiso; and Teatro a Mil International Festival in Santiago de Chile. They have sold out long performance seasons in Mexico City, as well as several national tours. As an important complementary work for each project, Certain Inhabitants’ Theatre has produced and presented lecture cycles, workshops, radio series, television programs and compact discs.
