Mr. McGiver’s off-Broadway credits include The Overwhelming directed by Max Stafford-Clark at Roundabout Theatre Company; nine Shakespeare productions at The Public Theater with Vanessa Redgrave, Mark Wing-Davey, Steven Berkoff, Brian Kulick and many others; Cymbeline with Bartlett Sher and Andorra with Liviu Ciulei at Theatre for a New Audience; Book of Days at Signature Theatre Company; More Lies About Jerzy at Vineyard Theatre; The Devils with Garland Wright and Lydie Breeze at New York Theatre Workshop; and Hapgood with Jack O’Brien at Lincoln Center Theater. Mr. McGiver’s regional credits include The Cure at Troy with Tina Landau at Seattle Repertory Theatre; Macbeth at California Shakespeare Festival; Dinner with Friends, Dancing at Lughnasa and The Beauty Queen of Leenane at Philadelphia Theatre Company; Private Lives at Center Stage; and the U.S. premiere of Pentecost at Yale Repertory Theatre. He has also performed at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Hartford Stage Company and Berkshire Theatre Festival.
