Artist Bio
Bethany Jorgensen
(Bio as of November 2009)
Bethany Jorgensen most recently appeared at the Goodman in A Christmas Carol during the 2009/2010 Season. Previous credits include Helga in Bohemian Theatre Ensemble’s critically acclaimed M. Butterfly, Emily in Our Town with Wing & Groove Theatre Company and Francesca in Live Bait Theater’s Jeff Award-winning Blind Tasting, as well as work with First Folio Shakespeare, Remy Bumppo Theatre Company and Door Off Broadway. She has worked with Imagination Theater for nine years, where she is Development Associate and directs and performs with Senior Spotlight, an outreach program that provides drama therapy for seniors in nursing homes. A violinist since age four, she is a registered violin teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas.
