Artist Bio
Pia Fraus
(Bio as of August 2006)
Pia Fraus most recently collaborated with the Goodman on the 2006 Latino Theatre Festival. In 1984, Beto Andretta and Beto Lima met in Belo Horizonte and formed Pia Fraus. Since then, the company has produced 16 unique spectacles, performed throughout Brazil, visited 15 countries and worked with a multitude of different artists. In 2006, Pia Fraus will produce Hercules and the world premiere of 100 Shakespeare, based on William Shakespeare’s canon.
