- About the Goodman
Artist Bio
Liam Collier
(Bio as of March, 2022)
Liam Collier (he/him) is theatre maker and organizer, currently serving as the Community Programs and Special Projects Manager at Goodman Theatre. Born and raised in New York, Liam moved to Chicago in 2017 to pursue his passion for immersive theatre and arts education. After completing an education internship at the Goodman in the 2018, Liam went on to work as a teaching assistant in the Musical Theatre Intensive before beginning a fulltime position at the the theatre. He is now the lead teaching artist of the Goodman’s multigeneration InterGens ensemble and specializes in ensemble-based modes of creation. Recent credits include QuaranStream Theatre Festival (Producer), iBuddy (Stage Manager, Totally Human), and Three West: An Immersive Staged Reading (Playwright, self-produced). Outside the Goodman, he organizes with the Chicago Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression in the fight to free all survivors of police torture and wrongful conviction.
