Goodman Theatre's two initimate theaters provide up-close theatrical experiences sure to thrill and excite.
The Albert Theatre (856 seat performance space):
The grand main stage Albert Theatre is the largest performance space in the building, featuring a proscenium stage with both floor and balcony seating. The Albert typically houses the Goodman’s biggest productions.
Premium seats are the best in the house on the main floor and the first five rows of the mezzanine (the balcony). With the exception of A Christmas Carol, most premium seats have been sold to Subscribers and are not available for groups. The next best available seats (“A” seats) are usually located on the main floor and in the second through fifth rows of the mezzanine. Seats in the “B” price level are the last six rows of the mezzanine. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more for most productions; however, discounts for A Christmas Carol require a minimum of 15 or more. Preview performances—the first nine performances of a show's run—offer the lowest rates of all performances.
The Owen Theatre (Less than 400 seats):
The Owen Theatre features three flexible levels of courtyard seating surrounding a large stage. The Owen is typically home to more intimate Goodman productions.
There are no assigned seats in the Owen and all tickets are priced per floor. Goodman Theatre offers group discounts to most productions and performances. Discounts are offered on the current single ticket prices for each performance.
For the most current group rates, please send name of production, performance date, time and an estimate number of seats to Groups@GoodmanTheatre.org and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Group orders can be placed Monday through Friday from 10am to 5pm.
