Bernhardt/Hamlet is Gaby Labotka's first production with the Goodman. She is an actor, director, choreographer, and more living in Chicago and working both locally and nationally. Gaby is a Certified Intimacy Director with Intimacy Directors International, and Advanced Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors, a proud member of the Alliance of Latinx Theatre Artists (ALTA). Gaby is a fierce advocate for respect, empathy, representation, inclusion, and safety in the theatre.

Gaby's work can currently be seen in X (Fight & Intimacy Director, Sideshow Theatre); Oslo (Fight & Intimacy Director, TimeLine); and A Doll's House (Intimacy, Fight, and Movement Director, Writers' Theatre).
