Zacbe Pichardo

Zacbe Pichardo is a Grammy–and Latin Grammy–nominated musician, composer and performer who works with the renowned Grammy–nominated Mexican folk ensemble Sones de México and on projects throughout Chicago. Mr. Pichardo has a degree in music composition from Columbia College Chicago and has performed in numerous major venues throughout the world, including the House of Blues, the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, Symphony Center and the Harris Theater in Chicago; the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles; the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, China; Carnegie Hall in New York; and in productions in the Smithsonian Folklife Festival in Washington, DC, and with Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Project. Mr. Pichardo’s composition credits include Tlaloc for full symphonic orchestra, the El lio de Anna film score for the Chicago Latino Film Festival and Pensamiento and Origenes Ancestrales, both commissioned by Sones de México.
