Isabel Quintero most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Sins of Sor Juana during the 2009/2010 Season. Other Goodman credits include Yasmina’s Necklace by Rohina Malik during the Goodman’s New Stages Series and understudied the role of Flora in the Goodman’s production of Boleros for the Disenchanted by José Rivera, directed by Henry Godinez. She appeared as Mother in Blood Wedding, the adaptation of Federico Garcia Lorca’s Al son que me toques, Lorca, directed by Laura Crotte, during the Goodman’s 2008 Latino Theatre Festival. Ms. Quintero also appeared as Cesar Chavez’ mother during the 2004 Latino Theatre Festival musical reading of Let the Eagle Fly by Julie Shannon and John Reeger. Ms. Quintero’s other Chicago productions include Sarita by Maria Irene Fornes at Halcyon Theatre, The House on Mango Street by Tanya Saracho at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, The Mark of Zorro at Lifeline Theatre, Quita Mitos with Teatro Luna, Accelerando at New Leaf Theatre and La Posada Magica with Teatro Vista.
