The Story

An ambitious African American reporter is hired by a major newspaper. She feels that the section she is assigned to is marginalizing her, and she’s confident she can be promoted to the Metro section with the right story. After an affluent white man is murdered in a “bad” neighborhood, the reporter cracks the murder case with a sensational scoop—but is it the truth?
