Artist Bio
Patrick Sims
(Bio as of March 2005)
Patrick Sims most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Story during the 2004/2005 Season. He was last seen as Neil in The Story at Milwaukee Repertory. Other recent credits include Burgundy in King Lear and Balthazar in The Comedy of Errors at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Other stage credits include Tshembe in Les Blancs at Madison University Theatre; William in Lobby Hero at Milwaukee Chamber Theatre; Hippolytus in Phaedra and Jorge in El Olor de Popcorn, a bilingual production in Spanish and English at the PTTP in Milwaukee. On screen, he was recently featured in the Walt Disney Pictures’ film Mr. 3000. His television credits include NBC’s made-for-TV movie In the Net and Mind Over Matter for the New York PBS station. Mr. Sims is currently an assistant professor of theater and drama at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and director of (TCSA) theater for cultural and social awareness.
