Artist Bio
Lizzy Cooper Davis
(Bio as of March 2005)
Lizzy Cooper Davis most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Story during the 2004/2005 Season. Theater credits include The Story at Long Wharf Theater; The Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci, directed by Mary Zimmerman at Second Stage Theatre and Berkeley Repertory Theatre; La Dispute at American Repertory Theatre and Lilith at New York City Opera, both with Anne Bogart & the SITI Company; in the absence of spring at Second Stage Theatre; Wit with Arizona Theatre Company; Gull with LightBox Theater Company; The Tempest and Twelfth Night at Stonington Opera House; Julius Caesar at the New York Shakespeare Festival; and Measure for Measure with Women’s Shakespeare Company. Recent film and television credits include Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, All My Children, many national network commercials, and title roles in the independent features Kali’s Vibe and Joy. Ms. Davis has also worked as a teaching artist in many of New York City’s public schools, community centers, and with incarcerated women in Rhode Island.
