Faith Overall

Chicago Heights native Faith Overall is an educator, poet, and spoken word artist who finds sustainability and liberation in artistic expression. For over a decade, Faith’s work has explored the intersections of human emotion, love, and connection (or lack thereof). As a fat, dark-brown poet, she invites audiences to examine their own positionality as it relates to the themes evoked within her artistry In April of 2020, she founded the Write It Down! Collective: a space for writers “and their creative homies” to exist in affinity.
