Storytelling Through Movement is a free workshop for Chicagoland teens interested in exploring movement, musicality and performance through dance. Get ready to move. In this high-energy workshop, participants will build confidence and expand their physical storytelling skills through movement exercises, choreography and musical exploration. Blending elements of musical theatre and contemporary styles, you’ll learn how to connect your body to rhythm, space and intention—bringing dynamic energy and expression to your performance. Led by award-winning and critically acclaimed choreographer and creator Breon Arzell, this session meets you where you are and invites you to grow, take risks and find joy in movement.
