The Art of Clown is a free workshop for Chicagoland teens to dive into the wild, playful world of clown and physical performance.

Get ready to move, experiment, and laugh as you explore how humor, vulnerability, and imagination collide on stage. Through ensemble games and physical storytelling, learn how to embrace failure, take creative risks, and unlock new ways of expressing yourself. Fail big, get bold, and discover the joy of performing in a whole new way. Your stage. Your rules.

Led by Stephanie Torns, American Musical and Dance Academy faculty member and Broadway performer (Waitress, Wicked), this workshop invites you to explore how choreography brings stories to life on stage.

Discover healthy vocal techniques, explore recording equipment, and get an inside look at opportunities in theater, narration, commercials, and more. Led by Emmy Award–winning performer Abby Thompson, you’ll learn how your voice can bring characters, stories, and ideas to life.
