Bring your students to the Goodman for an immersive Stage Chemistry workshop!

The Goodman’s Stage Chemistry program brings Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) to life through the magic of theater. Designed for middle and high school classrooms, Stage Chemistry offers Next Generation Science Standards–aligned workshops that reveal how lighting, sound, costumes, scenic design and other technical elements transform the stage.

Held onsite at the Goodman’s Alice Rapoport Center for Education and Engagement, these hands-on workshops invite students to investigate, test and reimagine the science and artistry of theater—deconstructing and reconstructing its elements through a STEAM lens. Along the way, they’ll discover how STEAM principles ignite creativity and problem-solving while strengthening collaboration and critical thinking skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
