Artist Bio
Susan Felder
(Bio as of November 2010)
Susan Felder most recently appeared at the Goodman in A Christmas Carol during the 2010/2011 Season. Other Chicago credits include Third at Apple Tree Theatre; She Stoops to Conquer and The Gamester at Northlight Theatre; Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth at Chicago Shakespeare Theater; Chords at Writers’ Theatre Salon Series; A Child’s Christmas in Wales at Remy Bumppo Theatre Company; and The Laramie Project at Next Theatre Company (Jeff Award for Best Ensemble). Regional credits include Josie in A Moon for the Misbegotten at the Orlando Shakespeare Theater; Mother’s Day at BoarsHead Theater (Thespie Award for Best Supporting Actress); and productions at Peninsula Players Theatre, Milwaukee Shakespeare Company and Detroit’s Attic Theatre. Ms. Felder spent 10 summers at Montana Shakespeare in the Parks, where she acted, directed and verse-coached over 20 plays. She recently directed The Quiet Man Tales (two Jeff Award nominations) at The Chicago Theatre Downstairs. Her play Temple Spirit is being workshopped at The House Theatre of Chicago.
