Artist Bio
Steven Sutcliffe
(Bio as of September 2001)
Steven Sutcliffe most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Visit during the 2001/2002 Season. He originated the role of Younger Brother in the Broadway musical Ragtime, for which he received a Theatre World Award. He has played leading roles in theaters across Canada, including seasons doing the classics at the Stratford and Shaw Festivals. Recent theater work includes Twelfth Night (Soulpepper Theatre Company), The Mill on the Floss (Worldstage Festival), and The Great Plays of the Millennium (CBC Radio). Most recently he has been busy workshopping Goldman and Grossman’s Tom Jones and Maltby and Shire’s Take Flight.
