Artist Bio
Rob Campbell

Rob Campbell most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Beard of Avon during the 2002/2003 Season. His Broadway credits include Lvov in Ivanov with Kevin Kline and Manus in Translations with Brian Dennehy, and his off-Broadway and regional credits include Suzan Lori Parks’ In the Blood, King Lear, The Treatment, As You Like It and Christopher Walken’s Him at the Joseph Papp Public Theatre; Caryl Churchill’s Mad Forest at Manhattan Theatre Club and New York Theatre Workshop; Tony Kushner’s The Illusion at Classic Stage Company; Hour of the Lynx at John Houseman Theatre; Mojo at Steppenwolf Theatre; Hamletmachine, Romeo and Juliet and Twelfth Night at Yale Repertory Theatre; Steve Martin’s Wasp and George F. Walker’s Tough at New York Stage and Film Company; The Cherry Orchard at McCarter Theatre; and Under the Blue Sky and Downed American at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. He has spent 10 seasons with the O’Neill Playwright’s Festival. Film credits include Hedwig and the Angry Itch, Boys Don’t Cry, The Photographer, Hostile Waters, The Crucible, Ethan Fromme, Let It Snow, The Stars Fell on Henrietta, Unforgiven, and opening later this fall, City of Ghosts, which was the first western film shot in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in 40 years. On television he has been seen on Law and Order, 30, Liberty, Ned Blessing, Miles O’Malley, Normandie, NY Undercover and Sex and the City among others. He is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama.
