Artist Bio
Rinska Carrasco
(Bio as of September 2018)
Rinska Carrasco returns to the Goodman, where she previously appeared in El Grito Del Bronx and El Nolagar as an understudy. Carrasco is a Dominican-American actor and director. She has worked on and off stage with Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Halcyon Theater and Something Marvelous. Carrasco’s selected theater acting credits include She Kills Monsters (Garage Rep at Steppenwolf Theatre Company) and In the Time of the Butterflies (Teatro Vista). She’s also been seen on Chicago P.D., Empire, APB and Chi-Raq. Selected directing credits include Heat Wave (Garage Rep at Steppenwolf Theatre Company) and The River Bride (Halcyon Theater). She has also worked as an Assistant Director on Fishmen, a co-production with Teatro Vista. Carrasco is a member of Halcyon Theater, Collaboraction and Teatro Vista.
