Artist Bio
Raymond Zrinsky
(Bio as of September 2001)
Raymond Zrinsky most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Visit during the 2001/2002 Season. He is a regular performer of classical music in the Chicagoland area. Earlier this year, he appeared in a Music of the Baroque performance of Purcell music directed by Paul Hillier. Mr. Zrinsky performed the role of Dragon in an Ars Musica Chicago performance of La Purpura de la Rosa by Tomas de Torrejon y Velasco. Radio broadcasts include a Basically Bach concert of Christmas music aired nationally for several years on NPR as well as a studio performance with Harwood Early Music Ensemble broadcast on WFMT. Mr. Zrinsky recently completed a recital tour of Europe with performances in the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Germany. Raymond received his master of music degree in early music vocal performance from Indiana University.
