Artist Bio
Peter Gwinn
(Bio as of September 2014)
Peter Gwinn makes his Goodman Theatre debut. He has co-written the musicals Listen, Kid…and Moulin Scrooge with Stephanie McCullough, and co-wrote and co-starred in The Awesome Show trilogy with Meagan Flanigan, all at iO Theater. Mr. Gwinn is a founding member of the musical improv ensemble Baby Wants Candy. New York productions include Listen, Kid… and Peter Gwinn’s The Confidence Ladder (Upright Citizens Brigade Theater). Regional productions include Twist Your Dickens (Centre Theater Group, Los Angeles; Portland Center Stage, Portland) and Moulin Scrooge (WreckingBall Theater Lab, Denver). He also performs in multiple improv shows at iO and the UCB Theater in New York. He has won two Emmy Awards as a writer for The Colbert Report (Comedy Central). He also wrote for the Amazon original series Alpha House, starring John Goodman.
