Artist Bio
Matt Schwader
(Bio as of October 2012)
Matt Schwader most recently appeared at the Goodman in A Christmas Carol during the 2009/2010 Season. He previously appeared at the Goodman in A Life in the Theatre. Other Chicago credits include Season’s Greetings and A Life at Northlight Theatre; Titus Andronicus at Court Theatre; As You Like It, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Othello, Henry IV Parts 1 and 2, Measure for Measure, The Merry Wives of Windsor and The Moliere Comedies at Chicago Shakespeare Theater; Shakespeare’s R&J, a co-production with Apple Tree Theatre and Chicago Shakespeare Theater; The All Night Strut at Marriott Theatre and Mrs. Warren’s Profession at Remy Bumppo Theatre Company. He has also appeared at Actors Theatre of Louisville, the Indiana Repertory Theatre and the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival. He is a company member with American Players Theatre where has appeared in Henry IV and in the title role in Henry V, and will play Hamlet in the summer of 2013. He holds an MFA from the University of Delaware’s Professional Theatre Training Program.
