Artist Bio
John Eskola
(Bio as of September 2001)
John Eskola most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Visit during the 2001/2002 Season. Other Goodman credits include the role of Father Boeri in The House of Martin Guerre. John was also a member of the national tour of Evita at the Shubert Theatre. Chicago audiences have seen John in Sweeney Todd at Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire, The Music Man at Drury Lane Oakbrook, and Maury Yeston’s Phantom, Rags, Sweet Charity and Follies at Candlelight Dinner Playhouse, among others. John can be heard on the CDs Contemporary Theatre Songs and Musical Theatre Classics, put out by Hal Leonard, and over 20 CDs by the Cathedral Singers, directed by Richard Proulx. John cantors at many churches around Chicago, singing for services, weddings and funerals. He is also a founding member of Chicago Cabaret Professionals.
