Artist Bio
Bernie Yvon
(Bio as of September 2001)
Bernie Yvon most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Visit during the 2001/2002 Season. He appeared on Broadway as Harry Houdini in Ragtime. Touring credits include Max in the Sam Mendes/Rob Marshall Cabaret, Houdini in Ragtime and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Chicago credits: Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre; Houdini in Houdini (Jeff Award nomination), Erik in Grand Hotel, Benny in Guys and Dolls, Domingo in Matador and Avi in History Loves Company at Marriott Theatre; Don in Singin’ in the Rain, Prince/Wolf in Into the Woods, Young Buddy in Follies and George in Little Me at Candlelight Dinner Playhouse; and appearances at the Shubert, Drury Lane, Apple Tree, National Jewish Theatre, and Lyric Opera. Regionally, he has played leading roles at Paper Mill Playhouse, Westchester Broadway, the Ordway, Coconut Grove Playhouse, Barn Theatre, and Cherry County Playhouse. Mr. Yvon will next be appearing as Albert in the Marriott Theatre production of Bye Bye Birdie.
