Adam Poss

Goodman Theatre credits include the world premieres of 2666 and Teddy Ferrara, three seasons of A Christmas Carol, dark play or stories for boys (Latino Theatre Festival) and workshop productions of The Magic Play and The Solid Sand Below (New Stages Festival). Other Chicago credits include the world premiere of Queen and Oedipus el Rey (Victory Gardens Theater), 1984, Animals Out of Paper (Steppenwolf Theatre Company), The Beats (16th Street Theater), Scorched and the word premiere of The Lake Effect (Silk Road Rising) and Antebellum (Athenaeum Theatre). Regional credits include Lady Macbeth in Robert O’Hara’s all male Macbeth (Denver Center for the Performing Arts), the world premiere of The North Pool, and The Lake Effect (TheatreWorks Palo Alto), the world premiere of Lot’s Wife (Kansas City Repertory), Macbeth (Actors Theatre of Louisville), The History Boys (Studio Theatre DC). Television work includes Empire, Shameless, Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Crisis, The Chicago Code and The Mob Doctor. Film work includes The Middle Distance and The Drunk, as well as the shorts The King of URLS and Speed Dating. Poss is also an ensemble member of Erasing the Distance, an organization dedicated to education about mental illness through theater. He holds his BFA from the Theatre School at DePaul University.
