Amelia Workman

Amelia Workman most recently appeared at the Goodman in By the Way, Meet Vera Stark during the 2012/2013 Season. She previously appeared in Chicago at the Museum of Contemporary Art, where she performed in Young Jean Lee’s The Shipment, which she helped develop. She has performed in The Shipment on stages all over the US and abroad, including the Sydney Opera House in Sydney, Australia, at the request of Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson. She also worked with Ms. Lee to create Lear, which debuted in New York at Soho Rep. Previous appearances include the hit non-traditional opera Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 at Ars Nova, the American premiere of Tender Napalm at 59E59 Theaters and the lead role in Eisa Davis’ The History of Light (directed by Liesl Tommy) at the Contemporary American Theater Festival. ameliaworkman.wordpress.com
