Goodman Theatre’s Women’s Board
The Women’s Board was founded in 1978 to expand the community and financial base of Goodman Theatre.
The current 44 members are among Chicago’s most active and philanthropic women. They share a passion for theater and play an essential role in supporting Goodman Theatre productions and its Education and Engagement programs. The Women’s Board raises over $2 million annually through a variety of activities, including a Premiere Society solicitation campaign, Auction, Education and Engagement Luncheon and Gala.
For nearly five decades, the Women’s Board has raised over $70 million for 40 Goodman productions and an array of Education and Engagement programs. Through their extraordinary work, Women’s Board members, past and present, have had a profound impact on the Goodman, its audiences and the civic life in Chicago.
Membership is by invitation. For more information about membership, contact Alex Meyer at 312.443.3811 ext. 192 or AlexMeyer@GoodmanTheatre.org.
