Season Opening Celebration
Season Opening Celebration
Goodman Theatre raised $225,000 for education programs and productions at its Season Opening Celebration on September 20, 2016.
The Walnut Room at Macy’s hosted dinner before the Wonderful Town performance at Goodman Theatre. The post-show cast party was hosted by Petterino’s. All proceeds benefit Goodman Productions and Education and Community Engagement programs. Elaine R. Leavenworth, Anthony F. Maggiore and Patrick Wood-Prince co-charied the event, which included remarks from Executive Director Roche Schulfer, Artistic Director Robert Falls and Wonderful Town director Mary Zimmerman. First Lady Diana Rauner was in attendance. The show received rave reviews from the press including “3.5 out of 4 stars” from Chicago Tribune and “Highly Recommended” by Chicago Sun-Times.
