Finding Yourself in the Classics is a free workshop for Chicagoland teens interested in exploring classical language and building confidence performing classical works. Learn how to feel comfortable in your body while working with heightened and classical text. Through text analysis and guided embodied exploration, participants will discover how to connect classical language to their own voice, identity and experience – learning how to step into classical pieces feeling fully themselves and grounded in who they are as performers. Led by celebrated TV and Chicago stage actress Netta Walker. Tickets are FREE. Reservations are required.
