A free workshop for Chicagoland teens exploring techniques to connect story and song and bring a musical theater performance to life.

Discover how to transform a song into a dramatic, fully realized performance. Develop healthy singing habits, and learn how to analyze text, rhythm and phrasing to create meaning and emotional impact. Led by celebrated teaching artist and local musical theater performer Sonia Goldberg, you’ll explore how music, lyric and intention come together to create authentic, multi-dimensional musical theater moments.
