ABOUT thE POET
Ruben Quesada is a poet, translator, and editor. Publications include Best American Poetry series, New York Times Magazine, Orion Magazine, Harvard Review, The Believer, and Poetry Foundation. His poetry collection Brutal Companion won the Barrow Street Editors Prize. It was a finalist for Best New Poetry Collection (Chicago Reader) and recognized as A Notable Book by the University of California. He has received grants/fellowships from the Illinois Arts Council, American Literary Translators Association, Jentel Foundation, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.
