Join us for the Ribbon-cutting celebration of the EAC Arts Village Sculpture Park at 63rd & May Street, the first-ever semi-permanent physical footprint of Englewood Arts Collective’s celebrated “EAC Arts Village” initiative. What began as joyful festival pop-up with cultural activations, now takes root as a dedicated public art destination along the 63rd Street corridor. Grand opening day will feature music, live band and vocal performances by beloved South Side gems, drumming by local youth, brief remarks, community gathering, and the unveiling of newly installed sculptures, murals, and public artworks. While future activations will include hands-on creative programming, the August 2 launch will focus on welcoming the public into the space and celebrating this major milestone. The Sculpture Park signals a bold next chapter: artist-led investment, corridor beautification, and culture as an economic driver in Greater Englewood.
