Here are the Goodman standards for artist bios and headshots. Once you have your bio and headshot prepared, please submit it below via the online form.

PLEASE REVIEW ALL GOODMAN STANDARDS BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR MATERIALS.

ARTIST BIO STANDARDS

  • Please provide your full name as you would like it to appear.
  • Please list (in this order)
    • Goodman Theatre credits
    • Chicago/Chicago area credits
    • Broadway, off-Broadway, off-off Broadway credits
    • Touring credits
    • Other Regional credits
    • Major film, TV and web series credits
  • Please write titles of shows in italics and names of theaters in parentheses
    • For example, The Music Man (Goodman Theatre)
  • If you have multiple credits with one company, separate productions with commas, and companies with semicolons.
    • For example: “Chicago credits include Play One, Play Two, Play Three (Theater One); Play Four, Play Five (Theater Two); and Play Six (Theater Three)…”

 

ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES

  • Please keep your biography to 75-100 words.
  • Due to space limitations, please only include names of productions and theaters.
  • If desired, feel free to include notable awards/achievements, professional website links or social media handles (space permitting).
  • Our biographies focus on each artist’s professional background; personal info such as “special thanks” and “shout-outs” will not be included.
  • Complete the online form above to upload your bio and headshot.
  • Goodman Theatre reserves the right to edit all bios for space consideration, grammatical accuracy and Goodman style.
