Yohanna Florentino

Yohanna Florentino (Beli) is a NYC actress. Her theater credits include Vámonos (Intar Theatre); Laughs In Spanish (Kitchen Theatre Company); Missing Socks and a Line of Coke (People’s Theatre Project); The Cooking Project (New York Theatre Workshop); The Old Settler (Morningside Players Theater, AUDELCO Award); Mecca Is Burning (Negro Ensemble Theatre); and Pegao (HartBeat Ensemble). TV and film credits include: FBI: MOST WANTED (CBS); and May It Go Beautifully for You Rico (Perpetuum Films, Winner at Locarno Film Festival). Yohanna intends to represent the broadness and brilliance of Black people; just don’t mess with her because she’s trained in Capoeira!
