Yohanna Florentino (Beli) is grateful to work again with Goodman Theatre on this beautiful Dominican and human love story. Her theater credits include Vámonos (Intar Theatre); Laughs In Spanish (Kitchen Theatre Company); The Old Settler (Morningside Players Theatre, AUDELCO Award); and Confederates (Kennie Playhouse Theatre). In film, you will see Florentino in Mad Bills to Pay (Killer Films). She is winner of honorary awards including Juror Award for Ensemble cast at Sundance Film Festival 2025. Yohanna intends to represent the brilliance and expansiveness of Black people and humanity, just don’t mess with her because she’s trained in Capoeira!
