Artist Bio
Tina Fabrique
(Bio as of March 2004)
Tina Fabrique most recently appeared at the Goodman in Crowns during the 2003/2004 Season. Broadway credits include Harlem Song; Bring in ’da Noise, Bring in ’da Funk; How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying; Ragtime; The Gospel at Colonus; Truly Blessed and as a soloist at Radio City Music Hall. Her national tour credits include The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas; How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying; Once On This Island; The Wiz; South Pacific (with Robert Goulet) and Bubbling Brown Sugar. Ms. Fabrique’s Arena Stage credits include Abyssinia, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and Constant Star (which she also performed at Hartford Stage and Actors Theater of Louisville). Her regional credits include The Old Settler (Westport Playhouse and Studio Arena); Kiss Me Kate (Theater Under the Stars); A Night in Tunisia (Alabama Shakespeare Festival); Spunk (Hartford Stage); The Glass Menagerie (Cleveland Playhouse) and she created the role of Mother Vera in Abyssinia (MTW, Goodspeed). Her TV credits include The Today Show, Reading Rainbow (sang theme), Mike Mulligan’s Steam Shovel (HBO), One Life to Live, All My Children and the Grammys.
