Tessa Brinckman

Tessa Brinckman makes her Goodman Theatre debut. Ms. Brinckman has performed in numerous chamber, symphonic, solo concerts and recordings in the US and abroad, including Oregon Symphony, New Haven, Astoria, Bach, Bloch Festivals and Ensemble East West. She has recorded, performed and composed for theater at Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Berkeley Repertory Theatre and in Seattle, New York and New Zealand, as well as for public radio, film, dance and commercials. Her CD Glass Sky (2005) received international critical acclaim, and her upcoming solo and duo recordings will premiere works by various American composers and herself. In demand as a versatile collaborator, she also co-directs flute/percussion duo Caballito Negro, and is the traverso soloist for the baroque group Risonanti. She serves on the faculties of Southern Oregon University and Rogue Community College, and guest teaches at universities in Oregon, New Zealand and South Africa.
