Artist Bio
Tanya Thai McBride
(Bio as of September 2014)
Tanya Thai McBride returns to Goodman Theatre, where she previously appeared in The White Snake and as an understudy in Mirror of the Invisible World. Her Chicago theater credits include Walk Two Moons and The Ash Girl (Adventure Stage Chicago); Yellow Face (Silk Road Rising); punkplay (Pavement Group at the Steppenwolf Garage) and The Fantasticks (Porchlight Music Theatre). Her regional theater credits include The White Snake (Guthrie Theater, McCarter Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre and Oregon Shakespeare Festival) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Heart of Robin Hood (Oregon Shakespeare Festival). She has also appeared with The Neo-Futurists, Polarity Ensemble, Collaboraction, Caffeine Theatre and Redmoon Theater. Her television and film credits include Chicago PD and Chrysalis. She received her MFA in acting/new works creation from Ohio State University and currently resides in Chicago.
