Artist Bio
Susie McMonagle
(Bio as of May 2009)
Ms. McMonagle most recently appeared at the Goodman in Rock ‘n’ Roll during the 2008/2009 Season. Her Chicago credits include Diane de Poitiers in The Mistress Cycle, Flora in Indian Ink at Apple Tree Theatre and M. Bane in Man of La Mancha at Court Theatre. She has received nine Jeff Award nominations for her performances as Florence in Chess, Eva in Evita, Ellen in Miss Saigon, Grizabella in Cats, Annie in Annie Get Your Gun, the Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods at Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire, Reno in Anything Goes at Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook, Shelby in Spitfire Grill at Apple Tree Theatre and Daisy in Side Show at Northlight Theatre. Her Broadway credits include Fantine in Les Misérables at Imperial Theatre. Ms. McMonagle’s national tours include a tour of the United States and Canada as Donna Sheridan in Mamma Mia!, Fantine in Les Misérables, Rhetta in Pump Boys and Dinettes and Maria in The Sound of Music. She received her BFA from Stephens College.
