Artist Bio
Suellen Burton
(Bio as of March 2003)
Suellen Burton most recently appeared at the Goodman in Dinner with Friends during the 2002/2003 Season. She recently completed a 15-month run of Over the Tavern at Northlight Theatre and the Mercury Theatre where she was seen as Ellen Pazinski in over 500 performances. She has performed at Chicago Dramatists in productions of Drawing War and The Angels of Lemnos and in numerous staged readings of their Saturday Series. Additional Chicago theater credits include productions of Desdemona…a play about a handkerchief at Turnaround Theatre; Rocket to the Moon and Club Soda, directed by Steve Scott, at National Jewish Theatre; Judevine at Chicago Dramatists; and the Midwest premiere of Voice of the Prairie, directed by B.J. Jones at Wisdom Bridge. She has been seen on television on this season’s finale of Mind of the Married Man on HBO.
