Artist Bio
Stephen Yoakam
(Bio as of May 2009)
Stephen Yoakam most recently appeared at the Goodman in Rock ‘n’ Roll during the 2008/2009 Season. A longtime member of the Guthrie Theater’s acting company, Mr. Yoakam has appeared in A Delicate Balance, Oedipus, Blue/Orange, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, King Lear, The Three Sisters, The History Plays, Medea, Uncle Vanya, A Winter’s Tale, Macbeth, Richard III, Side Man, Death of a Salesman, Hedda Gabler, The Screens, The Government Inspector and Othello, among many others throughout 25 years. Regional credits include Fool for Love at A Contemporary Theatre, Glengarry Glen Ross with Arizona Theatre Company, Black No More at Arena Stage and Idiot’s Delight at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. He has performed at Carnegie Hall with The Minnesota Orchestra. Mr. Yoakam is a founding member of Mixed Blood Theatre, most recently appearing in The Clean House. Film credits include Heaven on Earth, Sweet Land and Older than America. His television credits include Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
