Stephen Rader most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Light in the Piazza during the 2003/2004 Season. Other Chicago credits include Richard in The Lion In Winter at Timeline Theatre; his After Dark Award-winning performance in Side by Side by Sondheim with Pegasus Players (which he also toured throughout the Middle East); Gordo in A New Brain with Porchlight Theatre and a Jeff-nominated performance as Charley in Porchlights Merrily We Roll Along. Mr. Rader directed the After Dark Award-winning production of Corpus Christi at Bailiwick Repertory, as well as the 2001 production of Hans Brinker for Theatre Building Chicago, The Normal Heart for Ulysses Theatre Company and The Story Goes On, Alexandra Billings live concert CD on which he also sang. Mr. Rader is also an After Dark Award-winning cabaret artist and was recently seen in the independent film Kevin’s Room 2.
