Artist Bio
Shelby Hyman
(Bio as of November 2004)
Shelby Hyman most recently appeared at the Goodman in A Christmas Carol during the 2004/2005 Season. Other Goodman credits include the Child Duchess Christina in Mary Zimmerman’s Galileo Galilei. Other Chicago theater credits include Lookingglass Theatre’s Nelson Algren: For Keeps and a Single Day, DePaul Opera Theatre’s Carmen, Circle Theatre’s Music Man, and the Young Actor’s Ensemble’s Annie. Her screen credits include Harold Ramis’ soon-to-be-released The Ice Harvest and the BBC’s production of Catcher in the Rye, in the role of Phoebe Caulfield. She is a member of the Chicago Children’s Choir, which performs both locally and abroad. Ms. Hyman is a fifth grade student in Chicago.
