Artist Bio
Sheila Kettering
(Bio as of June 2019)
Sheila Kettering, CI, CT, returns to the Goodman, where she previously interpreted Wonderful Town. An interpreter for over 25 years, Kettering has interpreted for a variety of settings, including medical, business, education, video relay and theater. Notable theatrical interpretations include The Tempest (Steppenwolf Theatre Company); The Heir Apparent (Chicago Shakespeare Theater); Little Women (Marriott Theatre); West Side Story (Paramount Theatre); The Incredible Journey of Edward Tulane (Chicago Children’s Theater); The House That Will Not Stand (Victory Gardens Theater) and Arcadia (Writers Theatre). Kettering also interprets and coordinates interpreters for performances for DePaul University’s theater program.
